Class Features:

Bardic Knowledge (PHB 28): Kaelin has a +2 modifier on his bardic knowledge check to learn information about local notable people, legendary items, or noteworthy places.

Bardic Music (PHB 29): Kaelin may filk to produce the magical effects of his bardic music 5 times per day.  He may elect to use countersong (Su), fascinate (Sp), or inspire courage (Su).  Inspire courage provides a +3 morale bonus to attack rolls, damage rolls and saving throws against charm and fear for the bard and his allies.  The effects last for as long as allies can hear Kaelin’s song and for 5 rounds thereafter.

Song of the White Raven (Ex): While in any White Raven stance, Kaelin may activate his bardic music ability to inspire courage as a swift action.  His crusader and bard levels stack to determine the bonus of his inspire courage ability (+3).

Extra Granted Maneuver (Ex): Kaelin is especially insightful, and begins with an additional readied maneuver granted.  As a result, he begins encounters with 4 of his 6 readied maneuvers granted, and gains 1 new granted maneuver at the beginning of each turn in combat after the first round, when his 4 initial maneuvers are granted.

Indomitable Soul (Ex): Kaelin draws upon his dreamtouched powers to steel himself against the enemies he faces.  His personality, energy, and dedication make it possible for him to shrug off attacks that target his willpower.  He adds his Charisma modifier (+2) as a bonus on Will saves.  This bonus does not stack with that from a paladin’s divine grace ability.

Steely Resolve (Ex): As a 13th level crusader, Kaelin has a delayed damage pool (Bo9S 10) of 20 points.

Furious Counterstrike (Ex): Kaelin’s furious counterstrike (Bo9S 10) has a maximum bonus of +4 to attack and damage rolls.  On a crusader’s turn, he gains a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls per multiple of 5 points in his delayed damage pool (always round down; examples: 6 = +1 bonus, 12 = +2, 16 = +3, 20 = +4).

Zealous Surge (Ex): Once per day, Kaelin may opt to reroll a single saving throw.  He must abide by the result of the new roll, even if it is lower than the first.  This ability does not require an action.

Smite (Ex): Once per day, Kaelin may add his charisma bonus (+2) to a single attack, dealing a bonus on damage equal to his crusader level (+13) if the smite attack hits.

Die Hard (Ex): As a crusader, Kaelin gains the bonus feat Die Hard at 10th level.

Mettle (Ex): Kaelin can resist magical attacks with greater effectiveness than other warriors.  Beginning at 13th level, by drawing on his boundless energy and dedication to his cause, Kaelin can shrug off effects that would hinder even the toughest warrior.  If he succeeds on a Fortitude or Will save against an attack that would normally produce a lesser effect on a successful save (such as a spell with a saving throw entry of Will half or Fortitude partial), Kaelin instead negates the effect.  He does not gain the benefit of mettle when he is unconscious or sleeping.
